Afternoon Delight

I thought of my cousin this afternoon who passed away 5 years ago in a car accident. On her headstone it says It’s not the years in your life, but the life in your years. She was a true example of someone who always packed life with so much passion. When thinking of her today I knew that how she lived was the only way I wanted to live. So with that in mind I hopped in my car right after work and drove to do my favorite thing on earth, HIKING. It was such a beautiful day and I don’t want to leave this earth not having taken advantage of the moments God gave me. I headed to a rock climber mecca called Maple Canyon and Box Canyon. SImply gorgeous!

Where I stopped. I didn’t want to chance climbing up the waterfall solo with no one around and breaking my neck. 

Going down! 20 feet drop, if I climbed up, going down shouldn’t be bad right?
