The Black Hills of Utah
If this is any kind of sneak preview of Chicago Marathon training, then I am in for a long long summer. I thought that I would try running at the hottest part of the day. Genius I know! It was 80 degrees outside. I thought to myself, that isn’t so hot. I surely will be fine to wear all black while running. I mean I need to look slender if I’m in broad day light.

Turns out that isn’t the brightest idea. Apparently the sun is attracted to it. Then you add the fact that you are running up hills made of asphalt and you get the idea. I was smoking hot. Morning and night runs for me for now on. But on the bright side I got some vitamin D.
